Alysha Vartevan, DO

Dr. Alysha Vartevan board-certified neuroradiologist

Dr. Alysha Vartevan is a board-certified neuroradiologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Nova Southeastern University, followed by a fellowship in neuroradiology at the prestigious Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix.


In 2020, Dr. Vartevan founded Camelback Radiology, a patient-centered teleradiology practice designed to serve individuals with acute, traumatic injuries. Camelback Radiology employs board-certified radiologists with various subspecialties, including neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, and body imaging.


Dr. Vartevan previously served as the president of the Arizona Radiology Society. She is a journal editor and social chair for the American Osteopathic College of Radiology. Dr. Vartevan is also an adjunct professor with the University of Arizona School of Medicine and a mentor for radiology residents.


Dr. Vartevan's special interests include traumatic brain injuries and how MRI can assist in diagnosis and treatment, sports injuries, and advanced MR imaging, including Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI).
